An intriguing piece of driftwood found on a beach at the San Juan Island traveled to Oakland, CA, where a couple of years later David Ruth kindly offered his studio for the casting of the glass. Then, in a series of fortunate circumstances, Wanderer wandered back to a space very close to where it was originally found. Meant to be.
